Hackathon Event: April - May 2024

The introduction workshop happened on April 27 and April 28. Through a zoom meeting, students got to know all the information they need to participate, and also a brief overview of the warmup workshop and Learnathon. click here to watch the whole replay.

The Warmup Workshop happened on May 11. Creating custom GPTs and development environment (PyCharm, Python IDE, and API keys) were taught during this workshop. click here and here to watch the whole replay.

The Learnathon happened through May 17 and May 18. Participants learned prompt engineering and building custom chatboxes with Gradio. As well as creating a business plan. click here to watch the whole replay.

DIY4Youth's Hackathon event took place in Markham, on May 20th, 2024. Eight teams, with the amazing projects they made, competed through a series of presentations, demonstrations, and Q&A sections.
